Take your education to the next level with Sentricon® Advanced Training

January 28, 2016 by CORTEVA AGRISCIENCE Training

In the ever-evolving world of pest management, it’s vital to make continuing education one of your New Year’s resolutions. We have you covered with 2016 Sentricon® Advanced Training.

The online training series covers the benefits of the Sentricon System and valuable marketing information. Dive into topics such as prevention, retention and the commercial market. The modules can help you maintain your competitive edge.

This year, the training modules are set up a bit differently than in years past. Three modules are required. Then you select two (or more if you wish!) optional modules to earn a prize. The training modules all conclude with a short quiz. You will be able to select a prize after successfully completing five modules.

Sentricon Advanced Training

Here’s the lineup for 2016. The first six modules were created new for this year, and the last three are popular modules from previous training series.

• Preventative (Required)

With the Sentricon System, you have the power to both stop termites and prevent damage before it becomes a big problem for your customers. Offering homeowners Sentricon to prevent termite damage makes economic sense.

• Why Sentricon Is the Best Bait (Required)

Not all baits are the same. Discover why the Sentricon® System is the best termite solution for your customers and why Sentricon is better than a liquid treatment and better than other baits.

• Retention and Renewal (Required)

More than 9 out of 10 customers choose to keep the Sentricon System in place to protect their homes from one year to the next. While there is no secret to higher retention rates, there are some best practices to maximize customer retention.

• Know Your Enemies and How to Outsmart Them (Optional)

When trying to destroy the queen and her colony, it’s important to understand how the Sentricon System leverages termite biology and behavior against them. That’s why Sentricon is so effective at eliminating the entire colony.

• Commercial and Multifamily (Optional)

General pest control for commercial and multifamily accounts is the fastest-growing segment in the structural pest control industry. The Sentricon® System is an ideal solution for commercial property protection regardless of size because of its ability to eliminate termites without impacting the property.

• Tips for Selling to Women (Optional)

Knowing what information the buyer needs to make a decision requires considering who the decision-maker is. Research shows it’s a woman. Our selling tips can give you the competitive advantage you need to sell to your key customers — women.

• Communicating With Your Customers (Optional)

Learn more about the benefits of the Sentricon System, including selling points and homeowners’ issues. It’s important to practice sharing the information in your own words when talking to your customers.

• Objections (Optional)

As a Certified Sentricon Specialist™, you should always be ready to answer questions from homeowners based on facts and your experience. To help you be prepared, take a look at common objections and how to respond to them.

• Recruit® AG (Optional)

The Sentricon System includes in-ground and above-ground stations. As an added value to customers, Recruit AG stations can be mounted on uneven surfaces above ground. It’s a flexible solution for unique applications.

To be eligible for a prize, complete your Sentricon Advanced Training by June 30, 2016. For additional information, contact your Dow AgroSciences sales representative, call the help desk at 800-888-5511 (option 8) or send an email to expert@dow.com.
