Dow AgroSciences and the Sentricon® System were recently featured in PCT magazine’s Annual Termite Control Issue (February 2016). Neil Spomer, Ph.D., BCE and pest management global biology team leader, Dow AgroSciences, shared findings from a preventative research and development trial site in Tennessee.
In 2011, Dow AgroSciences teamed up with Dr. Steve Murphree, a professor of biology at Belmont University, and Dr. Ed Vargo (who was a professor at North Carolina State University at the time).
The termite experts performed DNA testing and found 27 different termite colonies infesting the landscaping around the home — but not the structure. This study also validated the claim that bait avoidance doesn’t occur.
So, with 27 termite colonies present, how much Recruit® HD bait do you think was consumed?
